OUR COFFEE

Araliya

The fragrant Araliya flower is an emblem of peace and beauty which has significant cultural importance in Sri Lanka. Araliya flowers are often used for religious and cultural occasions to represent life, joy, and hope.

Our honey processed Araliya coffee opens with vibrant citrus notes, unfolds with natural juicy sweetness, and lingers with tasting notes of red apple and caramel. As the coffee beans grow in the Sri Lankan highlands, where sun and mist dance in harmony, each cup of Araliya sings with clarity and lift.

Nelum

In Sinhala, Nelum means lotus flower, a sacred symbol of purity and enlightenment in Sri Lankan culture. Nelum represents spiritual awakening and overcoming challenges, as the beautiful flowers triumphantly rise above the murky waters, remaining untouched and luminous.

This sweet, wet processed coffee embodies the balance and purity of Nelum, with clean and crisp tasting notes of biscuits and almonds. Grown at high altitudes in the lush hills of Sri Lanka, Nelum offers a delicate harmony of body and aroma.

ROASTED TO PERFECTION

We have partnered with Blossom Coffee Roasters based in Manchester, UK, who are just as committed to sustainability as we are. They are a carbon neutral coffee roaster who are partners of World Coffee Research, a non-profit organisation who fund science-based agricultural solutions to secure diverse and sustainable coffee production.

After sourcing our finest coffee beans, undoubtedly roasting is an important part of our business. Once the green beans have arrived in the UK from Sri Lanka, they are roasted and packaged before being delivered to our customers. Both Araliya and Nelum are medium roast coffees, which have been carefully tailored to balance the unique flavours of our single-origin coffee beans, with the rich tastes developed from the roasting process. Our coffee has been certified as speciality graded, ensuring that you are enjoying a tasty, healthy, and ethically sourced cup of coffee.
